LEXIS WINDEED SERVICES UPDATE – LEVEL 3

As a an online search tool, Lexis WinDeed is fully operational for our customers during the national COVID-19 lockdown; however, there are key information suppliers whose operations have been affected

Deeds Office (Department of Rural Development and Land Reform) – Open for Conveyancers only 13 May

Online Searching Operational
Electronic Document Copy Requests Operational
Weekly Update of transfer files Operational
Lodgements Open 13 May
Registrations Open 13 May

The Deeds Office are currently open to conveyancing attorneys only.  The over-the-counter services remain closed while cleaning and operational protocols are finalised.

CIPC (Company and Intellectual Property Commission)
CIPC data updates were suspended on 27 March 2020; resumed 20 May for daily updates and the operation is current and stable.

Department Of Home Affairs
Home Affairs is open for the following services/documentation; birth certificates, death certificates, reissuing of ID documents and SA passports.

Dept of Transport (Vehicle Searches) – Closed until Level 3
The Department of Transport re-opened their operation on 4 June for processing Vehicle searches.
